Spherical roller bearings

Spherical roller bearings are durable and perform well even under difficult operating conditions. These bearings have a unique design with the ability to self-center the outer ring, based on the curvature of the raceway and rolling elements.

The self-aligning characteristics of spherical roller bearings allow them to more effectively compensate for shaft misalignment. This means that misalignments can be easily accommodated. Spherical roller bearings are particularly well suited for low- to medium-speed applications, making them an ideal choice for integration into your manufacturing solution.

Common spherical roller bearing models available through Focus Bearing include the 21300, 22200, 22300, 23000, 23200, 23900, 24000, 24100 series.

Specifications

Standard bearings are supplied open. Sealed spherical housing can be supplied on request.
Bearings can be subjected to various heat treatments (S0-S4).
Many gap options to choose from (C0–C5).
Standard bearings are rated for temperatures up to 302 degrees Fahrenheit.
Tapered bore (K) available
Generally supplied with either a steel cage or a machined brass cage.
Lubrication grooves are provided either on the outside diameter (W33) or on the inner and outer rings (W513).
Bearings are manufactured with normal tolerance class.
